Pururu
About Pururu

The character Pururu was created in September 2012 by communicator, actress and dubber Juliana Butolo (also known at the time as Juliana Plu) to be a Brazilian virtual singer.
The software used was UTAU, a free program that synthesizes voice banks through lists of phonemes - to which the creator herself lent her voice. This configuration of the CV (Japanese) and CV VC (Portuguese) banks was made by the editor Leonardo da Rosa (Flavescit)¹. To check for other artists and technical participants, check the description in each voice bank.
Currently, Pururu is an UTAU capable of singing in Portuguese, Japanese and Latin languages. She has the following voice banks: Pururu 1.0 (CV), released in 2012, Pururu Purple (PT-BR CV VC), released in 2014, and a new one is TBA.
¹ (7.31.2019) "My eternal thanks to Leonardo da Rosa, for his caring, kindness, talent and light. He has left this world, but his voice and works have been eternalized. He was the person who encouraged me to record and who invented and set up Pururu's early Portuguese bank. He was a boy of unique intelligence. I miss you so much. I can only say thank you. Thank you, forever."
